Balboa Bay Resort will host the thirteenth annual and highly acclaimed Newport Beach Wine Festival May 27 to May 29, 2016. This celebration will showcase Balboa Bay Resort and its exceptional food and beverage offerings through five creative and interactive wine and culinary experiences over the three day holiday weekend.

Newport Beach Wine Festival kicks off the holiday weekend on Friday evening, May 27, with an exquisite reception and five-course dinner featuring vintages from two iconic and critically-acclaimed Napa Valley wineries Far Niente and Nickel & Nickel in the resort’s signature waterfront restaurant, Waterline Newport Beach.
On Saturday, May 28, guests are invited to delight in three events, beginning with the interactive wine- themed cooking class and communal lunch, followed by a pre-Grand Tasting sunset reception and harbor cruise aboard SeaForce1, the resort’s new yacht and floating event space. The day concludes with the pinnacle of the weekend, the Grand Tasting where the resort’s Grand Ballroom will transform into a majestic tasting room featuring over 100 wines produced from over 50 top-flight California wineries, all acclaimed and award-winning, paired with an abundance of decadent food including fresh seafood, caviar, artisan cheese and meats, delightful desserts and much more specially created by Executive Chef Rachel Haggstrom and her culinary team. A live jazz trio will perform throughout the evening.
Newport Beach Wine Festival concludes on Sunday, May 29, with an extravagant Sunday Champagne Brunch featuring Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte. Along with top-flight champagne and a large variety of sparkling and white wine, guests will enjoy a bloody mary bar to accompany the vast variety of fresh seafood, oyster bar, sashimi, sushi, omelet bar, carving stations and much more. Live jazz will be performed throughout the course of brunch.
