Hotel Irvine’s popular Movie Nights in The Backyard is back! Grab your chairs and blankets and enjoy family night under the stars. Open to the public.
The hit summer activity from last year is back by popular demand! Movie-goers can ditch the indoor movie screen for gorgeous SoCal summer nights, grab your blankets or beach chairs and stake out the best spot you can find on the lawn.
Watch the kids run, jump, dance, skip, hula hoop, and meet new friends while you relax as nature’s backdrop slips from azure skies and feathery clouds into the fiery flames of a brilliant SoCal sunset.
Guests can pre-order a picnic from Marketplace or purchase from the chef’s outdoor buffet offering freshly prepared burgers, hot dogs, BBQ chicken, summer sides and staple movie snacks like ice cream, nachos, popcorn and favorite movie candies – all at reasonable pricing. Wine and cocktails are available, along with non-alcoholic beverages.
For dessert: choices abound at the chocolate bar and ice cream cart, and there’s popcorn, plain and fancy, of course.
Featuring classic blockbuster favorites on a 16-foot giant outdoor movie screen, it’s the perfect night for families, friends or even an impromptu date night.
The movie line-up:

Reminds me of growing up and going to the drive in movies. We’d pile in the car. Pop corn at home. Put in big brown grocery bags. Take a jug of ice tea. Oh, the happiness! xo
