Rainbow Roll, Crab + Hamachi Roll - Fresh Sushi at Ritz Prime Seafood - Social Hour | ShesCookin.com

Ritz Prime Seafood’s Social Hour is a more sophisticated and civilized version of what is traditionally called Happy Hour. As soon as you enter the elegant, contemporary space and cast your eyes toward the million-dollar yachts and breathtaking view of Newport Bay, the stress of a long day seems to magically disappear. Add premium handcrafted cocktails plus prime seafood, sushi, and nibbles and the fact that Social Hour is all day (10-5) on Saturday and Sunday, and you’ll know why Ritz Prime Seafood’s Social Hour is so special.

Social Hour

In the Bar, Lounge, and Patio
Monday – Friday 5pm – 7pm
Saturday & Sunday 10am – 5pm

A sophisticated selection of specialty cocktails are half off during Social Hour. Whiskey lovers will delight in the complexity of The Ritz 55 and guests seeking a refreshing libation to cap off a fine Southern California day have several bright, citrusy, not-too-sweet choices with a variety of base spirits to please your palate.

Shishito peppers have been making an appearance on menus for some time and the Ritz’s Blistered Shishito Peppers with Sesame Seeds was some of the best I’ve had. Served steaming hot so the bonito flakes are dancing – they’re a conversation piece that you won’t be able to stop eating.

“The menu at The Ritz Prime Seafood represents the way people dine today”, says Chef Phil Kastel. “Our approach and preparations let the wonderful flavors of our ultra-fresh seafood, meats and other ingredients shine through in an appealing, modern and clean way. That said, we couldn’t reinvent The Ritz concept without including one of the iconic classics from the original, the Ritz Egg.”

This photo was captured a few years back on an iPhone 4 at the original Ritz in Fashion Island.  Topped with caviar the Ritz Egg is a classic you absolutely must try.

Scrumptious coconut cake adorned with candied starfruit for a sweet finale.

Ritz Prime Seafood also offers a fabulous Weekend Brunch perfect for relaxing and reconnecting with friends and family. Enjoy the beautiful waterfront view while savoring a range of elegant brunch selections such as Lobster Benedict, Short Rib Hash & Eggs, and Brioche French Toast.

The Ritz’s unique Liquid Brunch offerings complement the meal with a Champagne Bar and Build-Your-Own Bloody Mary Bar.
