As a part of their third annual Art & Nature festival (November 5-8), Laguna Art Museum presents a variety of exhibitions, programs, events, and activities on the theme of art’s multi-faceted engagement with the natural world and, once again, will kick off the Art & Nature festival with a beach dinner by Outstanding in the Field.
Outstanding in the Field is a roving culinary adventure. The creation of artist Jim Denevan, Outstanding in the Field stages outdoor dining experiences across the country, reconnecting guests to nature and the origins of their food while honoring local cultivators and providers. In Laguna Beach they will seat over a hundred people at a single table on Main Beach. This unique experience unites local farmers and food artisans, chefs and winemakers, to celebrate the region’s best in food, wine, and farming.
A truly unique and fun event against a backdrop of the sparkling Pacific on one of the most picturesque beaches in Orange County, the exquisite evening features the cuisine of Chef Clark Staub and Habit Wine Company. The afternoon opens with wine tasting, mingling, and soaking up the sun and sand before a 4-course dinner that echoes the natural surroundings. Last year, sea urchin prepared on site was the star – what will it be this year?
You don’t want to miss this unique opportunity to partake in a magical, unforgettable occasion for a great cause. Generously hosted by Hotel Laguna, tickets are $350 and proceeds benefit Laguna Art Museum’s exhibition and education programs.
