Last night we had our Chocolate Lovers Valentine’s Day zoom cooking party and if you didn’t join us, you missed out on a bunch of fun! I’ll be posting all three recipes we demonstrated, both sweet and savory, but first, a Valentine’s Day cocktail you’ll love!
For a socially distanced Valentine’s Day all you need is your sweetheart and some booze. This cocktail is refreshing, sweet & sour (kinda like your sweetheart maybe) and so well balanced that the whiskey buzz will creep up on you, and BAM!
The Ballotin Raspberry-Chocolate Bramble Cocktail Recipe
A sweet & sour cocktail for you and your lover on Valentine's Day. Or your gal pals on Galentine's Day. Or just for you cuz you deserve it!
- 4-5 fresh raspberries
- ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 ounces Ballotin Chocolate whiskey
-
Muddle the raspberries and lemon in a Boston shaker or mixing tin until thoroughly smashed, then, the Ballotin Chocolate whiskey. Add a scoop of cracked (but not crushed) ice and shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker is frosty. Strain into a Collins glass (or double high-ball) and top with more ice if necessary. Garnish with a fresh raspberry and a sprig of mint.
