Veggie Grill is growing!! Now, in addition to the Irvine Spectrum and UCI locations, they’ve opened a third Irvine store at the popular Crossroads Shopping Center (Barranca and Culver). \u00a0The 3,000 square foot restaurant is largest of the locations and, BONUS, has ample parking. The Irvine Crossroads opening on June 12th marks the 19th Veggie Grill restaurant, four of which are in Orange County.<\/p>\n

The menu offers a full range of soups, salads, burgers, hot sandwiches, home-style plates, and desserts all made fresh to order and served up quickly.\u00a0 Everything is plant-based and free of animal fat, dairy, eggs, cholesterol, hormones, trans fats and high-fructose corn syrup. Veggie Grill is\u00a0committed to revolutionizing the way guests eat, talk, and think about vegetarian food, and with continued guest support in Orange County, we hope to see more openings outside of Irvine.<\/p>\n

The grand opening offered the perfect opportunity to introduce \u00a0the restaurant’s new summer menu items. The new menu features an exciting lineup of flavorful dishes, including three taco plates with your choice of \u201cFish\u201d, Chickin\u2019 or\u00a0Veggie\u00a0Steak, a Savory Kale Caesar Salad, and The\u00a0Grilled\u00a0Cookie ($4.50 – shown above) – a housemade cookie, griddled and topped with chocolate pudding, VG crema and more chocolate! \u00a0A dessert you may or may not want to share at meal\u2019s end.<\/p>\n

Since my first visit to the\u00a0Veggie Grill at The LA Farmers Market<\/a>, I understand why you might want to stick with forever-popular favorites like the All Hail Kale salad, veggie burgers, Crispy “Chickin” Plate, and incredible Carrot Cake – rest assured, they won’t be going off menu anytime soon!<\/p>\n
