<\/a><\/p>\n The Young Baker and her BFF decided to make these adorable Owl cupcakes, from the book Hello Cupcake<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, last week. For an afternoon they measured, stirred, carefully separated dozens of oreos cookies, frosted and painstakenly assembled nearly 50 double chocolate owl cupcakes – all the while joking, cajoling, swearing, and reminiscing. Not only did it serve as a bonding experience for them as they contemplate their futures and wait with anticipation to move to their respective colleges and step boldly into the next phase of their lives, but it further solidified their friendship, grounded in tears and triumphs of their shared experiences since middle school.<\/p>\n
