<\/a><\/p>\n The inspiration for this stunning salad started with the inaugural event of OC Bites<\/strong><\/span> last Saturday; sponsored by Melissa’s Produce <\/a>,\u00a0with the always charming\u00a0Cathy Thomas <\/a>entertaining us and\u00a0signing her new cookbook Melissa’s Everyday Cooking with Organic Produce<\/span><\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n <\/a><\/p>\n Attendees, an enthusiastic and friendly group of food lovers, received a copy of the book and a gourmet lunch entirely made from this season’s finest, organic produce from Melissa’s and \u00a0prepared by the three talented founders of OC Bites: Chef Renee Fontes<\/a>, Chef \u00a0Louise Mellor<\/a>, and Chef Debbie Dubbs<\/a>.
