You may have heard that a hot new grill and wine bar has opened in South Coast Plaza. Yes, indeed, Seasons 52 has spread their wings and landed in Orange County. Founded and created in Orlando, FL, Seasons 52’s concept of seasonal, health-oriented foods is a perfect match for the California lifestyle. The seasonally inspired menu strives to provide the freshest ingredients prepared using rustic cooking techniques, such as roasting, grilling and caramelizing to enhance natural flavors. The evolving menu changes four times a year, celebrating the harvest of each season, and reflects the dynamic personality of Executive Chef Tim Kast.
Relax on the outdoor patio with a selection from their Wine Spectator award-winning international wine list (100 bottle selections and 60 offerings by the glass). Enjoy lunch or dinner in the stylish dining room, watch the action while seated near the open kitchen, or enjoy a cocktail around at the piano bar where nightly entertainment begins at 6:00 p.m.
Hot Tip: every dish on the menu is 475 calories or less! And, menus for special dietary needs: low sodium, vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free, are available. But if you’re all about the bread basket and butter before your meal, you had better order one of the delicious, savory flatbreads to fill the void. I highly recommend the Spicy Chipotle Shrimp Flatbread. But remember, the glass is half full: the absence of bread means you have room for the star of the show and what everyone is raving about: the Mini Indulgence desserts!

Disclaimer: I wasn’t paid to write this post, but I was privileged to enjoy the hospitality of Marguarite Clark and Chef Tim Kast while dining on a sublime six course dinner along with artfully paired wines!
