Have you watched Lidia Bastianich’s PBS show Lidia’s Italy? Even if you’ve never seen an episode of her popular cooking show, what’s not to love about a $5 meal that can be prepared in 5 minutes? Lidia’s straightforward manner and home-style cooking is refreshing in an age of celebrity chefs and provides a delightful repast during a hectic day. Here she makes a spinach fritatta for lunch.
I’m off to Cannes and Paris for the next two weeks, but don’t go too far! I’ll be featuring tasty treats from two of my favorite foodie friends.

@Peggy, Faith, Angie, Monet Thanks for reading. I love eggs and the way Lidia says “fritatta” 🙂
Leaving Cannes today – it’s so beautiful here and I really should be running on the beach to burn off last night’s dinner!
