Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
I could think of no better tribute to the Irish than to share a few photos from our first visit to Ireland, a stunning and mystical land of unsurpassed beauty. Its ancient history, steeped in legend and myths, is apparent everywhere you go. One can find ruins of ringed forts and monasteries, castles and ancient stones with stories dating back to Viking times through the more recent Potato Famine. On this trip our adventures took us through the verdant countryside of County Cork and County Kerry and the quaint and colorful villages of Kenmare and Kinsale.

May you always have
Walls for the winds,
A roof for the rain,
Tea beside the fire,
Laughter to cheer you,
Those you love near you,
And all your heart might desire!
Lovely pictures! Thanks for sharing. Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
